10 questions with Carolyn Miller

Sitting in her office in New York, Carolyn Miller answers 10 rapid fire questions from our myFanPark team!

What's your name and what do you do?

Carolyn Miller - I'm a country artist, originally from Long Island, NY!

What inspired you to join myFanPark?

I think myFanPark offers unique fan experiences, beyond a t-shirt on your average merch store. I love how engaging and interactive this platform is!

What's your favorite fan interaction?

Probably the fan video chat; I love doing meet and greets and miss it terribly. Virtual hangs are a great way to make up for the lack of touring!

What have you missed most about touring?

The crowd interaction. Meeting new people. Hearing their stories. Getting to share mine. The feeling of your souls bonding in a room for a moment in time. It's not the same on a livestream!

Why do you think connecting with fans is so important?

Without the fans, there is no career. They're the ones who buy tickets to your shows, download your music, purchase your merch, support you time and time again...they're the most important piece of the puzzle!

Ready for some fun questions…

What's the theme song for your life?

My new original song "Flatline" coming soon - "I ain't gunna flatline. Knock me down, I'll build back up!"

If you weren't a musician what would you be doing?

Probably a veterinarian. I love animals so much. They've always been a huge passion of mine. I loved reading veterinary medicine books as a kid -- even the heavy scientific textbooks!

Speaking of animals, how's your puppy?

Archie is the best! He's 7 months old now. His personality has really formed over the last few months and it's so fun to watch him interact with his surroundings and learn the way of the world.

What fictional character do you want to meet in real life?

Oh man, this is tough! I was a child actor and worked in show biz from the time I was 8 years old, so I always watch film/tv from an artist's perspective. It's hard to get too invested into the characters because I'm analyzing the acting, the direction, the set, etc. Sounds crazy, but my point of view has always been a bit different because of my background!

What will be the thing that actually breaks the internet?

The day the bachelor gets cancelled....

Bonus question!

What are you looking forward to most in 2021?

Playing full band shows again - fingers crossed for some festival dates! :)

Carolyn has performed over 75 livestream concerts, events, and festivals during quarantine and has been featured by many country news outlets in their "ones to watch" categories.
